Results The OPA Annual Golf 2014 was concluded successfully on 9th August 2014.
Last year the venue was moved back to the Port Dickson Golf and Country Club.
A total of 67 golfers comprising Paulians, Lasallians and guests, some coming from as far as Canada, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore participated.
Last year the event was held in conjunction with the 88th OPA Annual Reunion Dinner.
Present to grace the event was our “evergreen”, Bro.
Felix as well as our OPA President, Mr.
David Wee.
Winner for the “Chairman’s Trophy” under the gross category was won by Mr.
Loh Seng Koon with a return gross score of 76 strokes.
Dato’ Lai See Ming emerged Champion for the Nett Category with a very impressive score of 68 nett, befittingly lifting his own trophy, the “Lai See Ming Challenge Trophy”.
The senior event was won by Mr.
Raghbir Singh, whereas the guest category was won by Mr.
Chew Fook Kiong, a Lasallian.
The prize giving ceremony was preceded by a sumptuous buffet lunch prepared by the Club.
The “Monotones” band was present to entertain us with some numbers from the 70’s and 80’s, and the School Rally and Victory March was sung, led by Mr.
Fabian Especkerman.
Congratulations to all the winners and a special word of thanks to all the committee members for their hard work in ensuring the success of the tournament.
